Car Audio Entries in Last Gadget Standing

The Last Gadget Standing is a popular, rowdy contest for the best gadgets of the year held during the Consumer Electronics Show each year. Among the contestants for CES 2012, we spotted a few car electronics entries including a Wilson Electronics Sleek 4G-V, which is called the first 4G signal booster for the car.

When users park their phone in the cradle they get a signal that is 20 times better than that of their bare phone. It works with Verizon 4G phones.

The Wison 4G-V boosts both incoming and outgoing calls over Verizon’s 4G LTE network on 4G phones. It also boosts the voice signal for all major North American over 2G and 3G.

The device comes with an external antenna. You can see how it works on the earlier Sleek 3G version. The only difference is the new Sleek, which will formally debut at CES, works with 4G Verizon phones.

The device will be available early in 2012 at a suggested retail price of $149.

We’ve written about the Livio Internet Radio kit here.

The iLuv car charger is a dual port USB charger that can quick charge an iPad and iPhone simultaneously. The charger head swivels to provide convenient access to the USB ports to charge any two Apple devices at the same time.
