Brandmotion LLC, award-winning supplier of OEM-grade, integrated safety and convenience products for cars and trucks, announced that it has hired Geoff Dixon as its National Accounts Manager. Dixon has been working with the company on a consultant basis and will join the team full time.
“We couldn’t be happier securing someone of Geoff’s caliber for our company,” said Jeff Varick, president of Brandmotion. “His vast experience in aftermarket and dealership-level sales and marketing is a perfect fit for what we do. We look forward to leveraging Geoff’s experience and contacts to push our unique, innovative products forward.”
Prior to Brandmotion, Dixon most recently held the position of VP Marketing for Guidepoint Systems, a national service provider of GPS-based vehicle recovery and driver safety solutions. He was responsible for implementing and maintaining vendor partnerships for the benefit of Guidepoint’s members. Under Dixon’s tenure, the company secured agreements with Lifelock, Liberty Mutual, Carfax and Mozy. In addition, Dixon orchestrated a sponsorship between Guidepoint and the Penske Indycar Racing team, with 2-time Indycar champion Helio Castroneves promoting the company throughout the 2011 season.
Dixon also served as manufacturer’s representative for Midwest Sales Associates, Auto Page and Allied for 1995 to 2001, where he managed business-to-business sales, conducted sales forecasting and implemented numerous successful marketing, public relations and promotional campaigns. Prior to these, Dixon spent 11 years as executive vice president and general manager of Code-Alarm, Inc., a Madison Heights, Mich.,-based manufacturer of vehicle security and convenience systems for OEM and aftermarket applications.
“To have any success in product development, what you take to market has to be innovative, be practical and stand out from the crowd,” said Dixon. “Brandmotion’s product mix meets this description perfectly, and that’s why I’m glad to be on board.”
