1. THE COOLING SYSTEM: YOUR VEHICLE’S LIFEBLOOD

If your engine overheats, the mission is OVER. Period. Emergency vehicles are prone to this because they spend so much time sitting still while the lights are flashing. No airflow = BIG PROBLEMS.

• CHECK THOSE HOSES: Heat makes rubber brittle. We look for soft spots, cracks, or any sign that a hose is about to pop under pressure.
• FLUSH THE MUCK: If your coolant looks like swamp water, it’s not doing its job. A fresh flush with the right manufacturer-spec coolant is an INVESTMENT in your engine’s life!
