A: NO!!! As long as you aren't cutting below the waterline (which we would NEVER do for a speaker), your boat will stay dry as a bone. We only install in interior panels and consoles designed for gear.

Q: Can I use car speakers on my boat since they're cheaper?
A: DON'T DO IT!!! Car speakers aren't built for the "marine environment." Between the UV rays from the sun and the moisture in the air, car speakers will rot and rust in a single season. Always go with TRUE MARINE GRADE gear.

Q: How long does a typical installation take?

Let’s be real… after the road trips, the beach sand, and those late-night fireworks, your car is basically a rolling trash can covered in soot and bug guts. IT’S TIME TO FIX THAT. STEP 2: THE TWO-BUCKET METHOD.
If you aren't doing this yet… START NOW!!! Get one bucket for your soapy water and one for clean rinse water. Use a high-quality pH-neutral soap (we LOVE the Auto Magic lineup for this). Dip your mitt in the soap, wash a section, then rinse it in the clean water bucket before going back for more soap. This keeps the dirt off your mitt and AWAY from your paint. NO SWIRL MARKS HERE!!!

If you hit the highway, your front bumper probably looks like a bug graveyard. Those bug guts are acidic, and if they sit in the sun for too long, they will PERMANENTLY ETCH your paint.

PRO TIP: Before you do your main wash, spray a dedicated bug and tar remover on the grill, hood, and mirrors. Let it sit for a minute (but don't let it dry!!!) and then rinse it off. It softens those stubborn "presents" from the highway so they slide right off.

THE INTERIOR RESCUE: SAND, SPILLS, AND STICKY MESSES!!! 🍟

The inside of your car is where the holiday really leaves its mark. Sand from the beach? Check. Spilled soda from the parade? Check. Mysterious crumbs in the seat cracks? DEFINITELY CHECK.

1. THE GREAT VACUUMING.
Pull those mats out and beat 'em like they owe you money!!! Seriously, get that sand out of the fibers. Then, get in there with a crevice tool. Move the seats all the way forward, then all the way back. You’ll be shocked at what you find under there. (Maybe even enough change for a pizza? 🍕)

2. THE SPILL DRILL.
Got a stain on the carpet? Use a professional upholstery cleaner. Work it in with a stiff brush and blot it out. Don't just scrub in circles – you'll just spread the mess. If you’ve got leather, make sure you hit it with a conditioner after cleaning so the sun doesn't crack it!

3. GLASS IS THE FINISHING TOUCH.
Nothing ruins a detail like streaky windows. Use a glass-specific cleaner and two microfiber towels – one to wipe the dirt, and one to buff it dry.
