Cruise Recap: Photos, Winners & Highlights from Castle Shannon VFD

WHAT A SHOW!!! The Team Nutz Car Cruise at Castle Shannon Volunteer Fire Department was one for the books!!!

On Saturday, September 12, 2026, Pittsburgh’s automotive community showed up with the cars, trucks, Jeeps, bikes, classics, imports, and custom builds that make this scene so much fun. The weather was feelin’ good, the vehicles were lookin’ even better, and the whole place had that perfect Saturday cruise energy.

Most importantly? 100% OF THE PROCEEDS BENEFITED THE CASTLE SHANNON VFD. That means every entry helped support the local volunteer firefighters who protect our neighbors, families, businesses, and community. THAT’S A WIN-WIN, PERIOD!!!

To everybody who came out: THANK YOU!!! Seriously. You made this event special.

THE CARS. THE BUILDS. THE PEOPLE.

A car cruise is never just about what’s parked in the lot.

It’s about the stories behind the builds.

It’s the owner who spent months tracking down the right wheels. The person who stayed up way too late wiring their sound system. The truck owner who finally finished that lift, lighting setup, or accessory project. The classic-car enthusiast who keeps an important piece of automotive history alive.

And then there’s the person who simply loves cars and came out to hang with the community.

ALL OF IT MATTERS!!!

We saw plenty of incredible details throughout the cruise:

• Clean classics with the kind of paint and chrome that make you stop mid-conversation
• Lifted trucks and Jeeps with aggressive stances, off-road upgrades, and custom accessories
• Modern imports and performance cars dialed in from bumper to bumper
• Custom audio builds ready to bring the bass
• Motorcycles and specialty rides adding even more variety to the show
• One-off projects that you don’t see every day around Pittsburgh
• Daily drivers that prove you don’t need a six-figure garage queen to have a seriously cool ride

Every row had something different. Every build had personality. That’s what makes a local cruise like this so awesome – you never know what’s going to roll in next!!!

We know everybody loves the trophy photos, the winner announcements, and the “who took home what” conversations. That’s part of the fun!

But the BIGGEST WINNER OF THE DAY was the Castle Shannon Volunteer Fire Department.

This cruise gave local enthusiasts a chance to enjoy their passion while supporting the firefighters who serve the area. 100% OF THE PROCEEDS WENT TO THE FIRE DEPARTMENT, helping provide support for the equipment, training, and operations that keep these volunteers ready when the community needs them.

That’s why events like this are important.

It’s not just about showing off a clean ride. It’s about showing up. It’s about giving back. It’s about proving that the automotive community can have a blast AND make a real difference.
