CRUISE DAY! Team Nutz Car Cruise Live at Castle Shannon VFD

IT’S FINALLY HERE, PITTSBURGH!!!

TODAY IS THE DAY!!! Saturday, September 12, 2026, is CAR CRUISE DAY at the Castle Shannon Volunteer Fire Department, and Team Nutz is ready to welcome the whole crew!

Whether you’re bringing a classic cruiser, lifted truck, slammed import, muscle car, Jeep, motorcycle, ATV, or a totally custom build, THIS EVENT IS FOR YOU. All makes and models are welcome. No gatekeeping. No “your ride isn’t fancy enough” nonsense. Just good people, cool vehicles, local vendors, food, fire trucks, and a whole lotta horsepower!!!

Here’s the quick info you need before you fire up the ride and head our way:

• CAUSE: 100% OF PROCEEDS BENEFIT THE CASTLE SHANNON VOLUNTEER FIRE DEPARTMENT

That last part is HUGE. This isn’t just a chance to show off your build, meet other enthusiasts, and spend a Saturday around some seriously cool machines. It’s also a way to support the local volunteers who help protect the community.

Every dollar raised goes back to the fire department. That means your entry helps support the people, equipment, and emergency services our neighborhoods depend on. Pretty awesome, right?!

NO ONLINE PRE-REGISTRATION , WATCH OUT FOR SCAMS!!!

Let’s make this part VERY clear:

YOU DO NOT NEED TO REGISTER ONLINE AHEAD OF TIME.

There is no online pre-registration for the Team Nutz Car Cruise. You’ll simply arrive at the event, pay at the gate, and get ready to enjoy the day.

BRING CASH FOR THE GATE!!! It’s the easiest way to be prepared and keep things moving when you pull in.

And please, please, PLEASE be careful with random social media posts, messages, or links asking for advance payment. If somebody sends you a suspicious registration form or asks you to send money through an unofficial PayPal, Venmo, Cash App, or other account, DON’T DO IT!!!

Team Nutz and the Castle Shannon VFD are not asking you to pre-pay online through random links. If the page looks sketchy, it probably is. When in doubt, contact us directly before sending anybody money.

You’ll get to see the kind of work Team Nutz is known for : custom vehicles, upgraded electronics, bold styling, clean interiors, powerful audio, wheels, lighting, wraps, and more.

We’re a one-stop shop for vehicle customization, and our projects cover way more than just cars. We work with trucks, boats, RVs, motorcycles, ATVs, golf carts, and all kinds of unique builds.

You might see a ride that gives you the exact idea you’ve been looking for. Maybe it’s a wheel setup. Maybe it’s a new audio system. Maybe it’s a full transformation project. Either way, don’t be shy : ask questions, talk shop, and get inspired!!!

Vendor Booths

Local vendors and automotive businesses will be bringing products, services, gear, and plenty of conversation for fellow enthusiasts.

Looking for detailing supplies? Accessories? Apparel? Performance ideas? Something totally wild for your next project? WALK THE BOOTHS AND SEE WHAT’S OUT THERE.

Food and Community Fun

A good cruise needs good food. Grab something to eat, hang out with the crew, and enjoy the atmosphere. Bring the family, bring your buddies, bring the person who says they “don’t really like car shows” : they’ll probably find something they love anyway!!!

Fire Trucks and Local Heroes

Of course, the Castle Shannon VFD will be a major part of the day. Check out the fire trucks, meet the volunteers, and take a moment to appreciate the people who respond when the community needs help.

If you’ve been following our Car Cruise Preview, you already know we’ve been telling everybody to get their ride ready early.

But if you’re reading this while reaching for your keys, here’s the fast version:

• Wash the ride. Road grime, brake dust, and mystery parking-lot dirt gotta go.
• Clean the wheels. A clean wheel setup can change the whole look of your vehicle.
• Check the tires. Make sure they’re properly inflated and ready for the drive.
• Clean the glass. Inside and out. Fingerprints and haze are show-day enemies.
• Organize the interior. Remove the fast-food wrappers, gym bags, tools, and random stuff.
• Bring cash. Again : PAYMENT IS AT THE GATE ONLY.
• Drive respectfully. No burnouts, reckless driving, or nonsense on the way in or out.
